We believe that we own non-exclusive rights to all the photos on the site. However, in many cases, we are not certain who took the pictures. We will happily acknowledge the photographer if you tell us who took the picture.

Hi, The attribution at https://www.nynjtc.org/news/updated-trail-maintenance-manual-now-available is incorrect. Ben Sugar did not take that picture, I took it and provided it to him after a Colgate volunteer work session in 2018. Take a look at the EXIF data in the original image IMG_7424.JPG. That said, I have no problem with the TC using the picture and shared it and others with Ben for TC uses. Aileen, the subject in the picture, was surprised that she was chosen for the cover after I let her know. She doesn't like herself in pictures but is honored to have been put on the cover of the maintenance manual. Regards, Dan Roman
